The goal of the Graduate Programs from the Department of Chemistry (PPG-Qui) of PUC-Rio is to train highly-qualified personnel at the Master and Doctorate levels who have critical vision to develop innovative and multidisciplinary scientific research related to Chemistry and its multiple interfaces, in order to meet the demand of high-tech and innovation from industry, as well as future professors at higher education.
Our program pursues students’ scientific, technical and cultural training by presenting them with the theory and practice of modern instrumental and preparatory techniques, emphasizing for an education based on social and environmental ethics and responsibility.
